After going through depression and dealing with problems that affected me more deeply than I expected, I found myself in a dark place.
Sometimes life doesn't go according to plan. Things happen that knock you sideways, and suddenly the things you once enjoyed don't feel quite the same.
For me, getting away in the motorhome and surrounding myself with nature has become an important part of finding my way forward.
🌲 The countryside.
🚐 Motorhome life.
🥾 Walking.
🔥 Sitting outside.
🐦 Wildlife.
🌅 And sometimes simply being somewhere quiet.
I'm not suggesting that nature or van life is a replacement for professional help or treatment. This is simply my personal experience of how getting outside, travelling in the motorhome and reconnecting with the natural world has helped me through difficult periods.
In this video I talk about the DARKNESS and the LIGHT — and why getting back into nature can make such a difference to me.
This isn't really a video about campsites or motorhomes.
It's about WHY I do this.
