Ryobi has issued a recall for mowers with the model numbers:
RY401014US, RY401140US, RY401140US-Y, RY401015US, RY401150US, RY401150US-Y, RY401016US, RY401160US, RY401020, RY401200
This video describes and demonstrates the disabling instructions provided by Ryobi/TTI.
Make sure the battery has and key has been removed before beginning.
Once complete you send photos of the model number, serial number, piece of wire removed and mower after procedure.
Ryobi will then send you a replacement.
