UPDATE: Since filming this video, I learned that Shaun David Hutchinson, author of the upcoming book The State of Us, has responded to Black reviewers critique of his book with racist microaggressions. I will no longer be reading this book because I do not want to support his behavior.
Hey everyone! Just like with my May releases video, COVID 19 has shifted the release dates of these books around, too, but I put in information that was accurate as of the time I filmed it. Keep an eye on release dates because they may have changed since then. About half the books I talked about are now coming out later than June, but Ive included them anyway to drum up support and awareness for them. I hope this gives you some new ideas for good reads!
