At the 10th Data Innovation Summit 2025, we had the chance to sit down with Gabor Harsanyi, Head of M&CR Data Office at Ericsson AB, after his session, “Living Tissue Over Metal Endoskeleton – How to Turn Data Strategy Mistakes Into a Success Story!” Drawing inspiration from science fiction, Gabor explores how a strong, structured data strategy framework (the “metal skeleton”) can support flexible, evolving use cases (the “living tissue”). In this talk, he shares why starting from the top—with business goals, not just data—is critical to avoiding common strategic pitfalls.
