In this vid we'll look at loading an image as a bitmap atlas. This is when you store multiple frames in a single image. It's very useful for animation and storing multiple characters per image. I've used a technique for quickly loading many sprites of the same size, but you can alter the method to allow sprites of differing sizes.

Also, I didn't mention it, but if you need some small sprites and some large, it's common to use multiple bitmap atlases. You'd have one for all your 16x16 sprites, one for the 32x32 sprites, and one for the 64x64 sprites etc. Then you can load the larger graphics, like backgrounds and menu graphics into their own separate images as well and use the sprite sheet class's constructor which does not specify sprite sizes.
