This past year director Dan Trachtenberg, who brought us Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers introduced us to the franchise’s first Yautja protagonist, Dek, in Predator: Badlands! Portrayed by breakout star, Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, both Trachtenberg and Koloamatangi infused pathos and complexity into Dek, bringing us something completely different; a sympathetic and richer side to Yautja culture. With Badlands now on Hulu and hitting 4K on February 17, we were invited to a very special event at Killer Fitness in Burbank, CA to work out like a Yautja, and (more importantly) get in a terrific chat with Koloamatangi.
