“Diversity, equity, and inclusion are hopelessly corrupt concepts that are irreducibly at odds with the basic tenets of justice in the natural law tradition.” These concepts violate human dignity and the most basic understanding of a just relationship.

Alternatively, dignity, equality, and solidarity (DES) are basic and fundamental concepts within the Catholic tradition that accomplish everything DEI putatively intends, but they have been obscured by the cultural movement we currently face.

Dr. Matthew Petrusek spoke recently at the SENT Ventures Chicago Regional Conference to discuss how we can approach the controversial topic of DEI; what it means in a corporate, government, and educational context; the moral implications of the terms; and the better alternative, DES.
