A centerpiece of the Nedlitzer exhibition, Miss Johanna Julian Pforte, a mummy was digitized to preserve this cultural heritage. Ms Pforte, in life, an honorable member of society of Nedlitz, died more than 300 years ago. Her body was mummified and placed in a tomb at St. Nikolaus church, Magdeburg, Germany. Various technologies including precision 3D scanning were used in the digitization and preservation process.

The Artec MHT scanner was operated by KLIB, Germany.
