The Digital Schoolhouse Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Team Battle 2022 returned with a bang for the first time since the COVID pandemic began. 47 schools battled it out to be crowned our National Champions.

Together with Nintendo Switch, the Digital Schoolhouse Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Team Battle reached an estimated 10,000 pupils and 1000+ teams in schools & colleges in the last academic year. The not-for-profit Digital Schoolhouse programme provides evidence that participating in the tournament can help to engage students aged 12 - 18 years with developing digital skills and broader soft skills, in addition to enabling them to aspire to career pathways they have yet to discover.
