For this design I used reference from Diablo and various images of bats. Feel free to ask me any question.
Quick mention, I should have spent more time on the sketch, mainly the mouth and positioning of the teeth. having a good foundation at the start with the line art Is one of the most important parts. You can see I struggled later on trying to transform the mouth with liquify tool into a more believable form.
Device used: iPad Pro 10.5, Apple Pencil.
Brushes and tools used: peppermint pencil, hard round brush, air brush, blend/smudge tool, select tool, liquify tool.
Layer blending modes used: overlay layer, multiply layer.
Guys! Please let me know if this playback is too slow! It’s easier to see what I’m doing but I don’t wanna send ya to sleep lol.
Do you prefer faster playback or slower, if you let me know in the comments that would be great.
