One of the more obvious comparisons to make, Digital Descent was an epic old top demon that was verified by Combined in early September of 2017, somehow getting insta-placed at #1 above Erebus (one of the most insane overestimations ever considering this was the unbuffed version). It did however get quickly moved all the way to #8 at the time, before combined verified a buffdate to the level that moved it back up to #4, and is more of a balance update from what combined says. Overall the buffs are pretty signifcant, even more so when you consider just how many there are. The exact difficulty of the unbuffed isn't properly documented to my knowledge, but it's a good bit easier, probably 100 spots lower on the AREDL if I had to guess. Also I know someone made a comparison on this already, however this is on the official upload (and there's like one difference between both I noticed), the end isn't broken and overall I tried making the changes as clear as possible.

Heres a frame window counter on the estimated low mainlist version of The Golden. Its the buffed version of the unnerfed version of The Golden released by nSwish in 2021, which was nearly impossible at the time of release. Dovi buffed the unnerfed version (Ill release a comparison sometime soon with the normal Unnerfed btw dw) in 2022, and verified it, but it turned out he was nothign but a cheater, playing on 480 FPS (not allowed) and with hitbox multiplier iirc. The player KlimK would pick it up and verify it pretty quickly in December 2025 after 27k attempts. This version has a ridiculous predrop and postdrop, and combined with CBF and the disproportionate player skill increase, leaves the drop wave to unironically be one of the easiest parts. Pretty cool stuff, i just wanted an excuse to do a fwc on this level lowkey LOL. NaN will be doing the rated version soon enough.

A frame windows counter on the recently verified top 50 extreme demon by mcbigmacplayz. This was actually requested by its verifier, Karmakaze. It takes some inspiration from other levels like Crackhead Circles and seems to be a favorite of the people. Karma estimated it to be between 30 and 50, which is MINUSdry to Slaughterhouse difficulty, and I could definitely see it being at least higher than Sakupen Circles due to the sheer volume of 5 and 6f windows, like jesus, was not expecting this many. The level almost feels buffed specifically to have those two, as theres barely any higher than 5 or lower than 6 frame windows around. Cool stuff.
