First video of the year and I'm starting strong! You've already seen Crossworld styled music, so why not reverse it?
I've been really disappointed when I heard no resemblance of Shadow 05's Digital Circuit soundtrack for Crossworld's track because the music in the original stage is absolutely awesome. But Crossworld's take on the theme is also majestic, so this is what I ended up with.
It's been really fun trying to recreate the style of Shadow the Hedgehog, as there isn't much attempts on vibes of Jun Senoe, which makes sense, these are pretty damn hard to get right lol.
For the guitars I mostly just stacked a real bunch of Shreddage 3 Hydra together, adding a grain of AMH for flavour (can be heard during the drop for sure), there was actually so many guitars stacked that my CPU couldn't handle them all that well, which resulted me unable to properly hear the full track in the project... could've been easily avoided if I just rendered the guitars separately, but I'm too dumb for that sorry.
Synths were probably the easiest, as it was just scrolling through Zenology's library until I find something that sounds Sonic 4, and then I played around that... That's really it.
Drums from Heroes and Shadow 05 are probably my favourite in the series for different reasons, but nothing too special interms of the way I did them sadly. Just some samples with EQ to make them really punchy and a bit crunchy, with additional ""real sounding"" drums of Addictive Drums 2 for the back support.
Hope this year is gonna be big for the channel, cya!
