Now here’s a movie that just flat-out wasn’t good. However, it does work as a “so-bad-it’s-good” sort of joint where the dialogue is just so laughable and ridiculous and the plot is insanely predictable that you can’t help but just guffaw the whole way through.

AS A BONUS, I’ve also included here the opening to my 35mm print of Osmosis Jones, which I spliced the Carmike intro onto for the sake of smooth playback.
I can smell the buttered popcorn just by playing this. Maybe it was just something about Carmike, but they always had some of the best popcorn around. That’s for the most part held over to the AMC Classic theaters that have been taken over, but it’s another reason I miss Carmike.
