Using Adobe Photoshop to add a liquid/ripple effect to a lens flare. I added some subtle little touches with Sqirlz Reflect and then created a chain of images by messing around with filters and blending modes.
A good amount of halftone shading is employed after the halfway point. Some of the colouring and lighting is really awesome to look at and makes my feel kind of proud, you know?
The video was made in Windows Movie Maker and has some interesting layering of effects and transitions, so watch out for those! There is also some slight tessellation involved with how I flipped and swapped the images in editing to order them in sequence.
