Im Cinedom in Köln feierte unser neuer Kinodokumentarfilm seine große Premiere – mit rotem Teppich, Gästen aus Film und Sport und einer Moderation, die das Publikum auf eine außergewöhnliche Reise vorbereitet hat.
ON THE WAVE erzählt die unglaubliche Geschichte von Sebastian Steudtner, dem Weltrekordhalter der größten jemals gesurften Welle. Vom Aufwachsen fernab des Meeres bis zu den gigantischen Wellen von Nazaré folgt der Film einem Traum, der größer ist als die größte Welle.
Diese Premiere war der Startschuss für eine Reise ins Herz des Big-Wave-Surfens.
