The Didcot Railway Centre recently celebrated its 60th anniversary - and me, not having been in quite a while (and what with lockdown easing and all that), decided to come along with friends Harun Bashir (otherwise known as Merry Hampton Studios) and Lewis Gilbert.
We had a whale of a time seeing the engines up close - I dare say this trip made me realise that Didcot really is a nice place to photograph engines, you can get up close, and there was some really nice stuff here that was too good to not use in a video. I like to do these videos, as it's good exercise for when I edit bigger videos together.
Also - I know it's been a while! Life is hectic, I'm planning the final Consider The Following (yes - the final, but I'll explain about that more at another point), as well as preparing for the anticipated Awdry Weekend at the Talyllyn Railway next weekend. If you see me at that, feel free to say hi! But don't let appearances deceive you, my channel is very much not dead.
