Vancouver's proximity to the ocean makes it one of the best places to spot humpback whales and orcas. The possibility of sighting a whale is so high that @vancouverwhalewatch guarantees a free lifetime return if you don't manage to spot any.
Tours run from April to October, with peak sightings from May to September. Each tour lasts around 3 – 5 hours depending on the sightings. We saw orcas, sea lions and bald eagles — they are just as cute in real life!
