Did you know President Reagan’s 1985 Inaugural Parade was held at Walt Disney World?

When record-breaking cold canceled the traditional parade in Washington, thousands of high school musicians who had traveled to the capital were left without the chance to march.

But their story didn’t end there. Four months later, in a presidential history first, the Inaugural Bands Parade got a second chance—at Walt Disney World.

More than 40 years later, former Disney CEO Michael Eisner joined us at the Reagan Library and reflected on that memorable day, when President and Mrs. Reagan traveled to EPCOT to finally see the bands march. 🇺🇸
