Most people learn English with the idea that there is one L sound. But spoken English actually has two.
The light L appears at the beginning of words and syllables like like, love, and allow. The dark L appears at the end of words and syllables like all, apple, and people.
Say "little bell" out loud and pay attention. You can feel both L sounds in just those two words.
