It must be a generational thing. Nowadays - games tend to get the "yeah but is it harder than Dark Souls?" treatment.

My generation (early 40s) we had the curse of games being 'Amiga hard' or basically 95% of home computer games being near impossible to beat. That's not to say it wasn't possible... Prince Clumsy here being a fun example.

But what are the games that are too hard to beat?
