Excerpt from ‘Jalen Brunson Scores 44 Points In Kobe’s’ article by Pat Benson:
In the best game of his career, Brunson wore the Nike Kobe A.D. 'City of Compton.' The shoes were released in April 2017 for $160 but have become increasingly difficult to find. Currently, on the sneaker resale website StockX, the lowest asking price is $1,000.
The 'City of Compton' colorway was designed in collaboration with DeMar DeRozan. The NBA legend was a close friend and acolyte of the late-great Bryant. His player-exclusive colorway featured a marble-colored upper with nods to his hometown and Bryant's infamous airball game against the Utah Jazz in the 1997 NBA Playoffs.
Brunson might be a lot younger and hails from the east coast, but he clearly embodies the mamba mentality. At 26 years old, Brunson exhibits expert-level knowledge of basketball and sneakers. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for the floor general.

Excerpt from ‘“Played Soccer Every Day”: NBA Legend Kobe Bryant Once Picked ‘Favorite Sport’ Soccer Over Basketball’ article by Abhishek Singh:
Kobe devoted 20 years of his life to basketball. Even after his tragic loss, his wife and his foundation continue to work towards the development of the game. However, Kobe once admitted that soccer was his favorite sport.
“I am actually [a huge fan],” Kobe said. “I grew up in Italy. From the age from six to 14 I played soccer every day. It is actually my favorite sport.”
It is not a surprise, considering Kobe Bryant spent a considerable time of his life in Europe. European nations are mad about soccer when it comes to the popularity of the game. Italy has a huge soccer fan base and some of the Italian clubs have millions of fans around the globe. Kobe was very devoted to soccer and even after his retirement, he stayed connected to the sport.
Moreover, Kobe’s daughter Gigi also played soccer alongside basketball. She wore the number 2 jersey as a soccer player and baller due to her idol, Sydney Leroux.
Kobe even started Mamba FC, which focuses on developing youngsters as soccer players. He left behind the team, which has produced some top players in the sport.
