Did Journey just try out Arnel Pineda’s replacement?
Journey’s singer situation has become increasingly interesting. Arnel Pineda has reportedly been struggling and has said he didn’t feel like touring, yet the band has a massive 60-date tour on the schedule. Now, other members and special guests have been helping cover songs during the shows.
Then Hugo Valenti—best known for sounding and looking remarkably similar to legendary former Journey singer Steve Perry—recently appeared with Journey in Japan.
Was Hugo simply a special guest… or was Journey quietly trying out a potential replacement for Arnel?
