Did God Change the Sabbath?
The Bible says clearly:
“The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.” Exodus 20:10
From Creation, God set apart the seventh day as holy.
Not the first day.
Not any day we choose.
The seventh day.
And here’s the important part:
The Bible never records God changing the Sabbath.
Jesus didn’t change it.
The disciples didn’t change it.
And no Bible verse gives permission to replace God’s holy day with another day.
History shows that Sunday worship became widely favored later, especially as church and Roman influence grew together.
But man can change tradition.
Only God can make a day holy.
And the Sabbath is not meant to be a burden.
It is God’s weekly gift, a day to rest, remember Him, and reconnect with the One who made you.
