Its well known that the allies utilised floating tanks during the invasion of Normandy. DD Tanks were used on D-Day with mixed results, but they weren't the only tanks to float during the war. Germany also experimented with a number of designs for a swimming tank. Known as the Schwimmpanzer, these strange vehicles would use pontoons to stay afloat, but were they any good? In today's video we look at Germany's amphibious tanks of World War Two.
