Black people aren't a monolith.

And pre-colonial African tribes had very little similarities with one another at that time except for living on the same continent and having darker skin - at least darker skin than people from Europe.

Europeans invented this new thing called white people, and they described Africans - all of them (all of us), as black - one thing, the same thing, creating a race and a system of subjugation and superiority worth billions of dollars in America alone.
