I went through a rollercoaster of dopamine love and interface despair in ADOM, ultimately arriving at an unexpected conclusion.
ADOM: Ancient Domains of Mystery is a super-oldschool roguelike in the most literal sense: a deep turn-based, keyboard-spanning RPG with randomized dungeons.
ROGUE DESCENDANTS is a series where I go down my list of unplayed roguelike / roguelites and give them 1 hour of my time. Lots of judgmental first impressions and mini reviews ahead.

STAR OF PROVIDENCE, formerly MONOLITH, is an INCREDIBLY GOOD roguelite bullet hell that really reminds me of Enter the Gungeon. It feels super good and fun to play, I have really CONNECTED with this one.
