66 million years ago an asteroid collision, coupled with increased volcanic activity is thought to be behind the disappearance of the dinosaurs. But here's the surprise. About 25 years ago, fossils discovered in China were so amazingly well preserved they showed dinosaurs' soft tissues and feathers. Modern birds, it turned out were not only related to dinosaurs, but they are dinosaurs. To be more precise, they're therapy dinosaurs, a group that also includes iconic animals like the Velociraptor and T-Rex.
