This video is about Richard Titherage, (1788 - 1834), more popularly known as Dickey Dung Prong, a rogue who lived through the Regency period and died in poverty. His story has been preserved due to his deathbed conversion to Christianity in which he made a full confession of his sins to his priest - who after his death, published it in a pamphlet at a cost of 2d each - selling out the first run of 3,000 copies in three days!
