44 Years ago we lost a legend, Randy Rhoads. In the beginning he was one of my biggest influences 'Crazy Train' being one of the First songs I learned all the way through.
The Diary Of A Madman album has a special place in my heart for many reasons. Firstly it will forever remind me of my Dad. Secondly, Randy Rhoads and Bob Daisley's genius minds created something truly magical through this album - it inspired me so much.
From start to finish it's a perfect album without a single bad song on the album in my opinion. And it was recorded in just 6 weeks! Don't often get speedy productions like that these days from REAL people. Truly amazing! Very hard to pick a favourite song from the album but this track does definitely stand out for me. Very complex in parts but with a very weird but simple solo. Not every solo needs to be fast to be great.
