3D has finally entered the room so Diana decides to go for a drive check out the 3D scenery. The 16-bit Atari ST suprised us last time with it's excellent 2D graphics when compared to 8-bit computers but when it comes to 3D, the machine doesn't quite feel like it's ready. We experienced a low framerate even though the polygon count and amount of objects on screen was very low.
In each episode of Diana Games Through Time we will play one PC game from each year in chronological order starting from 1978. We will watch as black and white text on a screen turns into millions of colours in a 3d expansive living and breathing universe. Look forward to a new episode every friday in this 42 episode series!
