💎 Diamond in the Loop Earrings | NEW 3D Beaded Shape! 💎
Ready to add a brand-new 3D shape to your beading toolbox? In today’s tutorial, I’m showing you how to make my Diamond in the Loop Earrings!
This fun design starts with peyote stitch to create a dimensional diamond-shaped component. The two sides are worked together and zipped to form the finished 3D shape. We’ll then add a 14mm Cosmic Ring and finish everything off with a beaded loop for the ear wire.
One of my favorite things about this project is how much you can change the look just by switching up your bead colors and Cosmic Rings. Make them bright and colorful, elegant and sparkly, or use your favorite Delica combination to make them completely your own!
✨ MATERIALS NEEDED:
2 – 14mm Cosmic Rings
Pair of Ear Wires
Size 11 or Size 12 Beading Needle
4lb Thread – approximately 4–5 yards
1.5g 11/0 Delica Beads – Color A (Corners)
4g 11/0 Delica Beads – Color B (Main Color)
12 – 15/0 Seed Beads – Color C
💎 ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Diamond in the Loop introduces a fun 3D diamond shape that you can use for these earrings and potentially inspire all kinds of future beaded creations. Once you understand how the shape comes together, have fun experimenting with different color combinations!
The finished design incorporates a 14mm Cosmic Ring into the beaded component and finishes with a small seed-bead loop for attaching your ear wire.
