Diablo! What a game. It was this 1997 stunner that finally asked the question: what if you could kill demons and wear their pants at the same time? Ever since then, the series has gone from strength to strength, and scandal to scandal. These include the tragic story of Blizzard North, and how corporate shenanigans shut down the creators of this beloved franchise. Diablo III's launch, which forced players into an always-online world to the dismay of many, all thanks to the Real Money Auction House, which is an entire scandal in itself. And finally, the grand daddy of all Diablo scandals: Diablo Immortal. One of the most insidious mobile games on an already unholy platform, this game wears Diablo's skin while blackmailing you into paying for its premium currency.
