CONGRATULATIONS to our winners, your edit will be displayed at the beginning of some of our MEPs starting in 2019! Thank you so much for the amazing entries, and thank you to those who showed any interest in this.
Were always looking for ways to connect with and work with our subscribers more, and I love the idea of displaying some of the work of all of you. This is the first time weve tried doing this particular contest, and we likely wont do it again for a while. Unfortunately there just wasnt enough interest/participation, making having a contest difficult. Maybe in the future well have gained enough subscribers that there might be more interest, and at that time we can take a poll and see enough people would plan to join. But anyway, thanks again, it was really fun to try this out.
Im not sure how long these winners will be in effect- likely until we possibly do this contest again in the future.

Hello everyone, we are super excited to finally be hosting auditions again and are looking for active editors! This audition process will be different than previous ones, so please read the full description before commenting.
STUDIO RULES & INFO:
1- We ask that you try to join 1 MEP (Multi Editor Project) every few months. Activity won’t affect your status as a member, but being active is part of what makes our studio what it is! We also ask that you log on to the forum at least a few times a month, that way you don’t miss important posts, MEP updates, etc.
2- Be timely and have good communication. If you’re consistently late with parts or are being unresponsive for an extended period of time, your part may be replaced and/or we may take over any MEPs you’re hosting.
3- Absolutely no bullying, discrimination, etc. It will not be tolerated. The expectation is although we may all have different views, we are all respectful to one another.
AUDITION DETAILS:
- Non/Disney edits are not required to audition; but keep in mind you should be willing to occasionally edit with it if you become a member, as most of our projects are Non/Disney.
- Auditions will be open today through the end of the month (Aug 31). The results video will be up ASAP in early September!
* NEW AUDITION REQUIREMENT: We are now requiring a short (7 second), assigned edit as part of the audition process. Below is a link for the short clip (file name is DGS Audition Track), and all interested editors will be required to edit that same audio, in any fandom/style they see fit. Essentially you will all be doing the same short “MEP part”, but in your own unique style. Anything goes as long as it’s appropriate (G-PG rating). Have fun with it and show us what you got! You have the entire month to work on/submit this short requirement.

WHEN YOU’RE DONE, PLEASE UPLOAD THE REQUIRED AUDITION EDIT TO YOUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL. DO NOT LINK THE VIDEO OR SEND A DOWNLOAD LINK IN YOUR COMMENT, AS THIS CAN CAUSE COMMENTS TO GO TO SPAM AND BE UNSEEN. As part of the audition process, we always go through each editors’ channel, as it gives us a good idea of the range and style of your edits. We will also watch the Audition Video when we do this step, so be sure its uploaded before August 31st.

- Let us know that you’re interested in becoming a member.
- Give us a way to contact you, either your email address or Discord. (It doesn’t have to be your main email, you could create a throwaway email just for auditions if you prefer). This is where we will send you studio information if you get in, so this step is essential.
- Please read and confirm the following: I understand that I am required to complete the short Audition Video edit (mentioned in the description) as part of the Audition process. If this requirement is not completed and uploaded to my Youtube channel by the end of auditions (Aug 31), my audition will not be included in judging.
