A big thank you to several of you who showed interest in this; we haven't done this before and just decided to open it suddenly, and we were unsure of the feedback we would get on it. Only a few were able to enter this contest, but each had its own special, creative, unique twist to it. Judging was difficult as each brought something to the table, but in the end we decided on our 2018 winner being:
xNinjaPetals (channel link below)- so congrats to you! Your submission will be our channel's banner and icon throughout the remainder of 2018.
As for hosting this in the future, we're unsure at this time. We may host it again and just not have it be an annual thing, or we may instead host this as a short video intro contest (since a few of you mentioned that you only edit videos and not banner and icons).
