Jasmine, a sales representative from DFI, introduced their advanced technology solutions at Computex 2023. She began by showcasing an HDMI solution designed for use in smart city environments, specifically on buses and roadside displays. The system is capable of providing real-time alerts and information, which is crucial for public safety and efficiency. When a significant event occurs, such as a hack attack, the system can display warnings and other critical information to inform the public and facilitate quick responses. The software solutions, provided by their partner "Big One," can reset or secure the system in case of such attacks, ensuring the safety and reliability of the infrastructure.

Jasmine elaborated on the vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) applications of DFI’s technology, which includes the integration of box PCs and panel PCs inside buses. This technology not only supports real-time information displays but also includes other essential functionalities like power charging with their MA8553 motherboard. These systems are designed to be highly adaptable and suitable for various smart city applications, including transportation and public utilities. The display panels can show detailed environmental data such as humidity and temperature, which is useful for both passengers and operators.

Despite its promising capabilities, Jasmine clarified that this technology is not yet available on the market. It is still in the demonstration phase, with ongoing developments and trials to perfect its applications in smart transportation. She also noted that the LED lights seen in the demonstration were standard, not specially designed for the technology, indicating that the display was more about showing functionality than showcasing unique hardware.

Jasmine moved on to discuss another product, the BC2030, which is part of DFI's suite of solutions for transportation. This product is already in use by some customers and demonstrates the practical applications of DFI’s technology in real-world scenarios. The BC2030 is embedded with Verizon’s technology and is designed for space-limited applications, making it ideal for use in various types of vehicles. This highlights DFI's focus on creating compact and efficient technological solutions that can be easily integrated into existing infrastructure.

The conversation also touched on the broader concept of the Smart Plus Solution, an all-encompassing term for DFI's smart city technologies. This includes their industrial Pi and other integrated systems designed to enhance urban infrastructure and transportation networks. Jasmine emphasized that the entire booth at Computex was dedicated to showcasing these Smart Plus Solutions, indicating the comprehensive nature of their offerings and their commitment to advancing smart city technologies.

When asked about potential customers and specific cities that might implement these technologies, Jasmine did not provide specific names. However, she did mention that these solutions are intended for use on streets and in various urban environments, indicating a broad market potential. This suggests that DFI's technologies are versatile and can be adapted to meet the needs of different cities looking to upgrade their transportation and infrastructure systems.

Overall, Jasmine’s presentation at Computex 2023 highlighted DFI's innovative contributions to smart city technology, particularly in the areas of transportation and public safety. Their solutions, although still in the development phase, promise to enhance urban infrastructure by providing real-time data, robust security features, and adaptable technology suited for a variety of applications
