Trying out Yuri at 0LB, haven't worked on his summon boards nor artifacts. Being in synergy more or less accounted for the lost stats and passives so this should be close to how he performs at MLB outside synergy.
He is much better than I expected. Despite his EX recast being slow, the damage and utility more than makes up for it. Not to mention, refunding both skills allows him to have great longevity.
The unique buff from his EX is also quite powerful, party overflow + BRV/HP regens, it works decently as a healing tool. Unfortunately without unequipping his SPD passive and Selphie, he cannot keep 100% uptime on the buff, though it would almost be too powerful if he can.
His damage output is good, on demand AoE gravity can be very useful, the long-ish EX recast means that he can freely spam skills without worrying about wasting a skill's worth of ex gauge .while he doesn't have a ton of ATK passives himself, the holy resist is able to do a decent number, now only if he starts the fight with EX recast max... It's a shame that his EX buff is unique and thus cannot be extended via Eiko, oh well.
I'm going to wait until Penelo/Edge before deciding to MLB him, but I can certainly see him being useful.
