FAIL UPDATE - The red caps are not strong enough to hold the heavy batteries on the rack for very long. Too much vibration eventually cracks the red plastic. I tried to reinforce them with fiberglass, but they were still not strong enough. I replaced them with 3D printed nylon battery mounts in a new video. youtube.com/watch?v=zMcLQ5ORows
I made a power bank for my electric drift trike. It holds six Dewalt 20V MAX lithium batteries. I used the red caps that come with the batteries, and riveted them to a steel bar. I connected three of the batteries in series to increase the volts, and the other three are connected in parallel to increase the amps. These batteries are rated at 9 amp hours each, and all together it can generate 60 volts at 30 amps.
