The first Chainsaw Man OP is now out and it is honestly the perfect storm of factors to get me to sort of obsess over it. First I love Chainsaw Man and Fujimoto's work, I love the OP directing style of Shingo Yamashita, and the music was done by one of if not my favorite musicians Kenshi Yonezu! So I spent the day digging through each frame for small details which might have been a call back to the manga or cool foreshadowing for events to come, as well as looking up the movies referenced in and why they'd be used in the ways they were. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it!
