What I did to get it to connect?
First you'll Need to open the trainer First then Open DMC5 from steam. After you open the game on steam DMC5 trainer should be active.
Then Click Coop/Divergence ONLY then save settings in the lower right corner.
Close DMC5 and then open Nucleus Coop, Click On "Download Game Handler" Then click on "Result Per Page" All then click "View All" Then look for Devil May Cry 5.
after that you should see it on the left tab click on it and sign your controller to which player will be which.
Press the right arrow and click play.
DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING ON THE CONTROLLER
the controller will mess up and you'll have 1 controller controlling 2 games so wait until the game goes full screen mode then press ok on the mouse
then you want to do the same for p2.
Pick any mission you want to do (Prologue works i tested) and the you want to keep pause for p1 or p2 until it works, if it doesn't then go onto the trainer and do what i did you saw in the video.
