On Wednesday 4 May, Development hosted three talks to celebrate the completion of our Special Issue focussing on the role of the immune system in development and regeneration, hosted by one of our Guest Editors, Paul Martin (Bristol University)
The second talk came from Elena Melendez (Postdoctoral researcher in Manuel Serrano‘s lab at the IRB, Barcelona), on the role of natural killer cells in limiting in vivo reprogramming.
The talk is followed by a live Q&A with Elena, chaired by Paul. For more details, check out their paper published in Development: journals.biologists.com/dev/article/149/8/dev200361/275093/Natural-killer-cells-act-as-an-extrinsic-barrier
