After reading Save the Cat writes a Young Adult novel by Jessica Brody, I was curious: what, exactly, was the difference between this new book and the original (writes a novel)? So I decided to compare them at a micro level, focusing on the first chapter of each book about writing a story-worthy protagonist ("the hero" in STC vernacular).
I cover examples, read sections out loud, and go over the outline of the hero chapter for both books!
