Part 14: youtube.com/watch?v=c96d1w2MvRU
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a science fiction First Person Shooter mixed with Role Playing elements, released in 2011, the games is third one in the series and happens 25 years before the first game, 2027, a time of innovation, chaos and conspiracy,
In Human Revolution we take control of Adam Jensen, a ex SWAT, whose just been hired at Sarif Industries as a Private Security Officer;
After a terrorist attack at Sarif's, Jensen's highly injured and therefore forced to to receive with high technology body augmentations; Few months after the attack and his recovery, Jensen's now in a search for those who were responsible for the attack,
The game contains a diverse variety of gameplay styles (Stealth, Combat, Social Decisions and Hacking), and that's where augmentations come in handy, as well as a handful of different paths and possibilities and decisions on how you want to play through the game such as Lethal or Non-Lethal ways,
- Stealth: Consists in not being detected, therefore avoiding combat and not wasting ammo;
- Combat: Is about kicking ass all the way, though you can chose to be Lethal (Therefore killing your enemies) or Non-Lethal (Leaving them unconscious, as the game wont force you into lethal ways),
- Hacking: Hacking in the other hand requires you to know what you're doing as a failed attempt might sound an alarm and start a fight; If successful, you might be able to uncover a lot of secrets you might of have missed otherwise,
- Social Decisions: This requires you to make choises of your own, be careful as selecting the wrong decision might lead the storyline to go in a way i didn't want to,
Unlike the first two game (Which featured Nano-Augmentations) Human Revolution features Mechanical-Augmentations (as the game is set 25 years before the first game and at this point Nano technologies was stil non-existent), these Augmentations come in handy for the gameplay types the game offers you...
Sadly, Human Revolution uses a regenerating health (personally i prefer the old school health packs), and regenerative energy, though the last one is a pain in the ass to regenerate so using items will be necessary,
Human Revolution is a trully wordy sequel to the first game, good story, long gameplay
