December was so intense that I'm only processing it now.
In this episode of Tia in Lagos, I'm finally breaking down what Detty December 2025 actually felt like - and why I think we're at a turning point. I talk about the one thing that really shaped this season: greed - price hikes, overstimulation, logistics, and how hard it is to move through Lagos in December (especially if you're not moving with a big group). You'll also see what we did with my clients (culture + nature in Lagos), why I actually think Lagos is a great gateway into Nigeria, and then... yes... the moment an Uber driver literally tried to fight me over a card trip. And as if that wasn't enough, right after Detty December I realized my 30th birthday was in a month, and planning it in Lagos became its own full-time job: vendors, budgets, "copy-paste" creativity, a cake that "can't look like the picture," and me learning (again) that convenience has a price.
