This PSL game featured traditional power Henry Ford versus the upstart in the PSL this season Murray-Wright. Murray-Wright dominated opponents all season with an 8-0 record entering the game. Henry Ford was 7-1 and lost an early game to Cody by a single point. Henry Ford won this championship game, 20-19, due to the late game heroics of wide receiver Jeremy Orr's touchdown run on a reverse. This was Coach Mike Marshall's third PSL championship and his second in three seasons.
