In the 30th Century, the galaxy’s most troublesome kids are sent to serve detention on the R.O.C.K. (Rehabilitative Orbiting Classroom and Kitchen), a remote asteroid juvenile facility hurtling through space. The asteroid is consistently under threat from attacking aliens and other undesired space scum. To fight these threats, the R.O.C.K.’s superintendent, Mr. Vortex, has guaranteed early release of a select group of seven delinquents that commit to defending the atmosphere surrounding the asteroid. This team of misbehaving misfits, known as The Detention 7, is led by Skylar StarShorts, an over-his-head human teenager who must wrangle his ragtag team of bullies, burnouts and robot rapscallions to work together for survival, while also trying to avoid failing remedial math again.
