Temagami, Ontario has a series of trails on Caribou Mountain and the White Bear Forest ranging in difficulty.

On our visit, we started at the Fire Tower and did the Old Fire Ranger Trail which was pretty leisurely, though a bit hilly. After that, we made our way down a section of Jack Guppy Way to get to the Beaver Pond.

Here there was a nice scenic area complete with a boardwalk over the pond, and the best part was we had it all to ourselves! We walked across the boardwalk to the other side, and took in the views trying to spot a beaver, but sadly we didn't see any.

Then on our walk out we headed down John's Trail (250m) and then back to the parking area where we left our truck.
