Hello fellow adventurers, today we're diving into the world of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and I'm going to reveal a secret technique that's been circulating - the Duplication Glitch. This will allow you to multiply any weapon, item, or material in the game, boosting your gameplay experience. So, let's get started!
Some setup:
- Have 2 of the exact same bow so they can stack on top of each other.
- Equip a sword and a shield
- Stand at the top of a stair and face Link down the stair
STEP 1
First things first, you need two of the exact same bows. Once equipped, pull out the bow but don't aim it, just let Link notch the arrow by pressing ZR.
STEP 2
Select the item you want to duplicate. You can do this by pressing up on your D-Pad and choosing any item you already have. I did sapphires a bunch in this video.
STEP 3
With the Sapphire now fused to your arrow, open your inventory screen by pressing +and navigate to the bow you have equipped. Your job here is to drop that bow and then equip the 2nd version of the same bow.
STEP 4
Next, you'll want to quickly press the plus + button on your controller twice. If you've done it correctly, the material you're duplicating should appear on the arrow.
STEP 5
Finally, drop your second bow and return to the game. If you performed these steps accurately, an extra item should appear in your inventory when you pull out the quick inventory. And voila! You've duplicated an item.
Extra notes:
- If you go too fast, the pause menu will not come up
- If you press + too slowly then the item will not show on the arrow and you will need to start again
- If you get the item to show on the bow, you did everything correctly so far. Now it is a matter of getting the bows to land on top of each other. This comes down to where you are standing. If it does not work, move somewhere else.
