Destiny 2's Lore and Story in Renegades heavily focuses on the new villain to the Fate Saga, Dredgen Bael. He's mostly evil and corrupted but he has one point which is valid enough to warrant discussion. He believes that the Last City is a place which is ruled with the potential for Tyranny under the Vanguard. Whilst the Vanguard are doubtless a virtuous organisation, the point about how they're ruling the city structurally isn't wrong. So today I explored this one point at which Bael was right.
