One of the many beauties of games is that even a memory created in a virtual world can be just as powerful as anything that has happened in the real one. Shared victories (and, indeed, shared failures) alongside friends, experiencing unforgettable story moments, interacting with beloved characters; all of these possibilities and more are a cherished aspect of the medium we love so much. As developers, we consider ourselves lucky to have been a part of creating and sharing in some of those memorable moments with Destiny players around the world.
This collection of Destiny 2 original music brings together a number of works that haven’t appeared anywhere else. The music runs the gamut from dramatic pieces that have accompanied players in several dungeon adventures, to themes from activities found in Seasons past, Exotic Missions, and even landmark cinematics from Destiny 2.
Just as revisiting this music has brought back memories for the Destiny 2 team, returning our thoughts to the times when these pieces were created, we hope that listening to this music brings back fond memories of your time as a Guardian – with your fireteam members at your side – braving the unknown, together.
