Neither of these were TOO tricky, but besides the flying start you can definitely choose to go above or below certain obstacles and that'll probably affect your time.

The last adventure thats technically part of Path of Fire! I think it was added later as part of the quest chain to get your skimmer to go underwater. Its an interesting one! I wish there was a way to make underwater skimming faster so I didnt have to dive and surface all the time though...
